Bloomberg’s Jason Schreier has reiterated that The Elder Scrolls VI: Sentinel is still at least two years away from release, having doubled down on his claims during a recent post on BlueSky after the game was re-revealed yesterday. I think a lot of people forget that The Elder Scrolls VI was only announced in 2018 (along with Starfield) to soften the blow of Fallout 76 — “Don’t worry, even though we’re making a multiplayer game we’ve got single-player stuff coming too!” Sorry to say this game is still more than 2 years away! This isn’t the first time that Schreier has claimed that the upcoming fantasy-RPG is still a ways off.
Back in July, he said during a Bloomberg Live Q&A that The Elder Scrolls VI was “ two to three years away at least ,” and it seems that’s still the case. Bethesda Game Studios revealed during an update over the summer that the title is the “ primary development focus ” for the development team, revealing the majority of the studio is working on the game. The Elder Scrolls VI Sentinel is currently without a release date and it’s currently unknown what platforms it will be released on. [Source – Jason Schreier on BlueSky ]
